Bike pooling in Hyderabad
Book the pillion seat on a bike that’s already heading your way: quicker through traffic than a car, and you only share the cost. Or offer the seat on your own bike.
How bike pooling works
- Find a ride and tap Bike to see only bikes, or search your route with the bike option.
- Check the rider: their rating, the bike, the route and whether they carry a spare helmet.
- Book or request the pillion seat. At pickup the rider enters your 4-digit code.
- Ride and pay the rider directly, by UPI or cash, then rate each other.
Why it works
- ₹0 fees. SmyRides takes nothing from the fare.
- Live tracking. Follow the trip, or share a live link with someone at home.
- Women-only rides are available for women riders and passengers.
Prefer four wheels? Carpool in Hyderabad the same way, or offer your seat if you’re riding anyway.
Questions
What is bike pooling?
A rider who is already going somewhere offers the pillion seat on their bike. You book that seat, share the trip and the cost, and pay the rider directly.
Do I need my own helmet?
Riders say on their ride whether they carry a spare helmet, so you can see it before you book. Wearing a helmet on a bike is part of the SmyRides guidelines.
How much does bike pooling cost?
The rider sets the price for the seat and the app suggests a fair one for the distance. SmyRides charges nothing on top, and you pay the rider by UPI or cash.
Can I offer the pillion seat on my bike?
Yes. Share a ride, pick your bike, set your route, stops and price, and mark whether you carry a spare helmet.
